Proposal
Trilogy Laboratories, LLC
Operational infrastructure for your next stage of growth
Prepared by Weston Beckwith|WBX Creative LLC
Executive Summary
Trilogy Laboratories has earned a strong reputation in premium private-label skincare manufacturing, with recognition at the state and national level and a client base that has grown nearly fourfold since inception. The business is well-positioned for its next stage of growth — but the operational infrastructure that carried the company to this point has reached its limits.
This proposal outlines a structured engagement beginning with the most urgent need — standing up in-house label printing and restructuring the graphic design workflow — with additional custom software and migration services available as the business is ready for them.
Current State Assessment
Based on our meeting and facility walkthrough on March 18, 2026
Label Printing
- Current small-run vendor is unreliable — missed deadlines, lost orders, and inconsistent communication
- Production delays directly impacting order fulfillment and client satisfaction
- Volume is manageable and well-suited for an in-house batch print schedule
- Suitable space identified on-site for print equipment installation
Graphic Design
- No standardized template library or documented workflows for label production
- Current remote designers are slow and unreliable, creating a persistent bottleneck
- Labels built ad-hoc by opening old files and manually swapping content
- Multiple hiring rounds with 90+ candidates reviewed have not produced a qualified in-house designer
Inventory & Warehouse
- No active inventory management system for packaging components
- Tracking relies on spreadsheets and institutional knowledge — a single point of failure
- Production team needs real-time check-in/check-out capability across the facility
- Gap between raw material tracking (Cosmetri) and finished goods fulfillment
Systems & Software
- HubSpot handles CRM and marketing adequately — no immediate need for replacement
- No production workflow system beyond a basic Kanban board
- Proofs managed via email with no version control or client-facing visibility
- WordPress site being migrated to Shopify — front-end designer in place, backend buildout needed
WBX Creative has a proven methodology for operational buildouts in manufacturing and production environments — print departments, design workflows, inventory systems, and the technology that connects them. We've executed this across industries, but our deepest work has been in private-label skincare and cosmetics manufacturing, where the operational patterns from company to company are remarkably consistent.
The most directly relevant engagement: at Pravada — a private-label skincare manufacturer with a nearly identical business model — I led the following:
- Built and launched in-house label printing operations end-to-end
- Established a fully staffed graphic design department where none existed
- Selected, deployed, and configured CRM and ERP platforms company-wide
- Developed SOPs and trained all production and office personnel
- Managed vendor sourcing, equipment procurement, and facility preparation
During that engagement, Pravada scaled from $8M to $12M in annual revenue.
